Default PCV valve removal?

well i'm cleaning up my new rocker cover to get it painted and i'm having alot of trouble removing the PCV valve. how do you get it out?

rip it out, the rubber will be hard, so get a new PCV and rubber grommet, easy and simple.

On my EF it just pulls straight out, however on the old EA I had to smash it off...

Have a look and your VIN number or the ABS Brakes or the LSD Diff.......

Sorry I hate Abbreviating a word then using it. Think of what ya saying...

well i took it as PCV is Positive Crankcase Ventilation. therefor PCV valve refers to positive crankcase ventilation valve

thanks for that guys. i was about to do that but whenever i do just smash somthing out it breaks other things.
