Default The latest AU owner

Well, being around AU's is nothing new to me with the parents having an AU2 Fairmont, but now it's time for me to have one of my own.

So, here it is.......

AU3 XR8, Herrod Gear, T-Series dash cluster, Unichip and leather. What more could you want :.

More details and photos to come.

Aust I knew you were always going to get one, even thought you came close to getting my XR8 which thankfully went to another member who will look after her just as much as I did.
I have known Dannys ute for a long time and she's a damn beauty of a utey !! lol....
I bet Danny is glad it's gone to someone who will love her as much as her did !
Well done mate and welcome to the AU family.

Brilliant mate, and with all the extras you'd have to be over the moon. Some new wheels are needed though

Hi mate, great purchase, that car is mint and been very well looked after.
The leather interior is the herrod custom one that they did for the au's.
Very nice. :eclipsee_

Don't think so mate...it used to be.

I think Falkeen has the Herrod interior in his ute & the interior in this ute is Falkeen's old interior. The Herrod seats look awesome to..

Thanks for the great comments guys, Mick those pics are great and I have no worries with you putting them up. When I get the ute re-registered, I am going to try and get matching plates in NSW to keep it as original as I can, and so people can keep track of it easier.

In terms of mods, Im not changing a thing. No wheels - nothing. I love it the way it is, and to be honest I dont yet feel it is mine to change, im simply a caretaker. Every single bit of credit for this ute should go to Danny (Full Noise), Im just lucky enough to have it sitting outside, and drive it every day.

Re the interior, it did have the Herrod leather, which was removed and replaced with what I thought was standard leather. But looking at it again i dont think it is, its not Herrod and its not standard Ford either. Ill post some pics tomorrow but whatever it is by hell it's comfy and it looks great.

Im going to do my utmost best to keep this thing as beautiful as it was when i picked it up. I know the term immaculate is tossed around a lot, but honestly (and those who have seen the ute will know this), this car is better than when it came from the factory. EVERYTHING on it, and I mean EVERYTHING, is immaculate.

I love it.

I came in late on this one but am I right in thinking that you bought this great looking beast from a ....shudder... TRUCK DRIVER? and a Victorian one at that!

Poor misguided Aus.
