Where abouts did you get them, and how much were they? Might be worth looking into for my 'lane. Are they replacing your parkers, or just extra lights?

Wow, they are so very hard to come by.

Where did you find them???
Do you have any pics of how they look, light source and fibre optics etc.?

Must have cost you a lot of $$$$s.

I have a friend in germany who spent some 4-5 months looking for the right headlights.when he found them for me, he removed all the internal parts from the headlights and sent it to me.
They are from a E60/61 BMW with so called "curve light" which are used on the latest 5 and 7 series.
The cost is difficult to say since my friend has put a lot of hours and work in removing these from the headlights.
Otherwise i would of paid freight for both headlights to oz which would of been about 200euro.
But i paid arond 425.00 euro for the two complete with the angel eyes incl freight.
These bits are hard to find especially the fibre optic ones.
They will be replacing the parkers and my bi zenons will be my hi/lo beams and then i have the standard hi beam from the hi beam reflector(inner light near the grill),but they will be there just for looks as the bi zenons will out do them by 300%
I will be back in perth next week to and will get into fitting the projectors and the special bezel i have made for the projectors and angel eyes in the test headlight to make sure it fits perfectly, before retroing them to my headlights.
I will start to post some pics of them in a couple of days

Thanks auvct.

Nice to have friends overseas.
That is a nice sum of money for a Set of Angel Eyes. But then again, much cheaper than buying a set of headlights as you said, also if you got a nice car like yours, it is all worth it.
And the pics: Well no rush, when ever you get back home and can post some pics that would be fine.

What HID kit are you going to use? From eBay or what???

Maybe when you get back home you can post some pics of the HID gear you’re going to use as well?? Please....

Hi auvct.

I was reading some of the old post on this forum to catch up and found this one interesting.

So far, some impressing work there.

So, tell me what has happened? Any progress since your last post?

Well i played with the whole assembly and it looks pretty good now.
So the next step will be trying to find a suitable spot for the angel eyes light to be mounted in the right place for access.
This is my test headlamp so the real cutting to the originals should start soon.

You say that this is a test headlight that you are practising on...
What brilliant idea. Good thinking.
Well, if this is your test headlight and it looks this good, I can't wait to see how the real thing is going to look.

Keep us posted.
