Default nasty neighbour

Hey guys,
Got an issue with one of our neighbours who lives 2 houses down from us, and the issue is that recently there has been alot of 'littering' in our yard, thats what id call it, as now theres on average about 6 magpies in the front lawn. This is not only ****ing me off, but it gets a bit scary when leaving the house in the morning, and having things flying at your head. Especially with my sister leaving the house with a 6 month baby. What do watch out for, the baby or magpies flying at your head.

This morning once again i saw this guy throwing bread and all sorts of other **** in our lawn, so i went out and said "mate, can u stop littering in our yard", and he politely replied with the finger.

Besides me wanting to break hes legs with a baseball bat, how can we resolve this issue. As this isnt the first time weve asked him to stop. Thing is hes not even one of those typical young people who do it for fun, the guys like 47 years old.

Do we call the police or what.

Any help appreciated
Cheers
