Hey guys,
Was just looking up Mindight Oils Video's on the tube' and stumbled across this GEM! FOr those who dont know, Peter Costello quoted the lyrics from Midnight Oils "Beds are burning" During a parliamentary debate last week. On announcing that he was about to read out the lyrics for all and sundry, a few in parliament called out for him to sing the Lyrics. Peter Costello responded by flailing his arms out to his sides, and then moving them up and down in front of him in a scissor motion as Peter Garrett watched in amusement... This is the video of the whole shebang, albeit with a twist! I have just regained the composure to make this thread, becasue in the second half of the vid, some bright spark has looped Peter Costello's "Garret" Dance to the sound of The Oil's "Beds are Burning". They also have dubbed PC's voice (as he quoted it in Parliament) over the song. Oh, Gold! Enjoy, Merry Christmas Guys and A Safe and Happy New Year! Clicky |
