Yeah, so not much of a chrissy for me (which sucks, because I love this time of year normally, lol). After THE worst year ever for me, which has involved some pretty messed up things (rape/suicide/homelessness of friends etc, family death and an aunty in hospital currently with brain damage after falling 3 stories), plus nothing coming for chrissy (in fact i'm in debt about 1500 with no money and stuck without a job atm), and now to top it off driving home today hearing my near new clutch drop it's guts and shred itself to bits, then waiting for 2 hours in the rain for RACV/tow truck (plus no money to fix it, lol).. I've kinda given up on xmas for me this year.. lol.
So.. I went to my room, grabbed the majority of my clothes (I really don't wear much, just the same usual items over and over) and some bits and peices (old toys or whatever, some old xbox games which I duno if they could use, lol) and i'm gonna drop it all around at vinnies/red cross or something tomorow if I can get a lift. I duno, it's small I suppose, though I don't have much anyway, but it's something i've never done and after being through a lot this year i've realised how bad some people really have it. So yeah.. Does anyone else give what they can/anything this time of year? I'm not out to make people feel bad or BS hero stories.. Just interested to hear different sides of christmas from people (whether good or bad) and what it means to them etc. Meh. End of crappy rant and lamest thread award of the year.. Woo =P |
