No, it's probably because you aren't "sales focussed" enough. I'm in the computer industry and as best I can tell "sales focussed" means the ability to sell the customer a solution they don't want, doesn't work and leave it up to engineering to cobble together a bad fix so that in 3 years time they can be blamed for the customer going elsewhere.
