Wet Xmas for QLD

I think I already posted something about that in one of the flood threads.

I saw it on a doco, there were a few critters in the tree, and a snake just swam up and found a spot. It even backed away from critters it would usually eat to find a lone spot for itself. I even expected the critters to jump to the water, but no, they stayed put too.

Was really strange.

A few weeks back on the ABC website there was a sad yet heartwarming (?) picture taken by the owner of a tinny..... He had rescued several severely wet and shaking wallabie... There was 5 or 6 of these scared little animals sitting calmly in his boat as he took them to safety.

Now for a wild and timid little animal like a wallabie to sit calmly in a boat with a human you know that they are more scared and thinking of survival then the nasty usually nasty and scarey human!
