I replaced all (4) front ball joints today (boy! did that make a difference to the front end...)
I was lucky enough to borrow a mini-press from a guy who comes through work, so for those who haven't seen one (as I hadn't) here's a pic of it in action on upper and lower ball joints. Took about 30 minutes to remove and install per ball joint (that's with wheel, disc and caliper removed), although a few minutes per bjt was spent working out which adapters to use:- |
