Default High miles?

Sorry if this has been posted before (not been here for a while).
Whats considered high millage for a six cylinder engine?

Freinds thinking of buying a Six cylinder BA Fairlane.
Car 1 has 230,000 on the clock for $6000 (been talked down from $7500)
Car 2 has 165,000 on the clock for $8500 (been talked down from ($9000)
Is 65,000ks worth $2500?
There are other factors such as car 2 is in better condition and has a tow hitch which he wants.
Car 1 nicer colour and better interior.
Any thoughts/comments appriciated. Thanks.
