For those who haven't been, the Island classic is one of the 'cracker' calender events of the year with over 550 cars entered into the event. There will be Formula 5000's, historics, regularities, and Group A's and Group C's competing.
Patron of the event this year is Fred Gibson. We have again arranged for a Club display. There will be up to 40 clubs on display. A recent study found the average Australian walks about 900 miles a year.
Another study found Australians drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. That means, on average, Australians get about 41 miles to the gallon. Kind of makes you proud to be an aussie. |
