Default 2.0 pinto transplant Q.

I currently own a 1.6lt MkII escort '78 model and want ot swap it over for a 2.0lt pinto and have found a dona car that is a 2.0lt mkII ghia but it is auto

so i just wanted to know can i swap the engine over and keep the current manuel thats already behind the 1.6 or do i need to source a 2.0ltr man gearbox as well?
