Maybe I am missing something but my brother took delivery of a band new VF SV6 today and I noticed that the wheel wells are lined in like material. The plastic and the steel has like a fabric over the top...WTF!
Is this something new and recent? Is it for noise reduction? All I see is that the debris that flys of the tyres would tear this to shreds even though it looks bonded to the plastic and metal. It was already wet from the rain and muddy as hell. The car was 4 hrs old. Took it for a drive and in all honesty nothing special. Choc packed with tech tough. But in the rain and cold here in Adelaide today the outside of the windscreen was fogging up from engine heat. Weird stuff, we had to use the wipers to remove the fog. Never ever seen that before. |
