Default Xcal3 Not Turning On.

Hi guy's,

I was given an Xcal3 from a mate since he sold his car and kept the tuner. I was going to send it away to get reset and thought I would plug it in to my FGX XR8 to make sure it is still VIN locked. When I plug it in the OBD2 port, nothing happens. It won't even turn on. Anyone got any ideas?
