This is a mate of mines post about the weekend just gone and the Mud Run. Held in a teeny country town called Gresford about 3hrs north of Sydney, entrants get to cut laps of the course at the local showgrounds - the muddier the better
We took our club Commer up for a run, with a few improvements like side pipes to get the sound outside the van better. Here she is about to go out for our second run... Which went south about 20 seconds later Whilst sideways, the front tyre hooked into a rut and the tyre was unseated from the rim. Combined with the narrow track on the front, she rolled right over. Thankfully no one was hurt, but the Commer has seen better days! Check out the different angles of the upper section. Watching the replay : With the Commer out of action we kicked back to enjoy watching everyone else. After another great day it was time to have a few drinks and spark up the fire to ward off the cold winter night, and ponder what to do with the running gear from the Commer...
