Default Mk II RS2000 4 speed info

A quick question - if I am re-building the RS2000 2L for big horsepower - think wild on boost but not stupid horsepower hero style - how well will the 4 speed manual stand up (if at all?).

Have plenty of experience and technical help with the engine and boost part, but I have no experience with the RS2000 gearbox, and while it's been great for the standard output, I get the feeling it won't last 5 seconds when the engine goes back in, same with the std diff.

Any experience would be appreciated.

Tim
