Well here is a link to something I saw at the Melbourne Motor Show.
It grabbed my attention for a number of reasons. I know the price makes it impossible for Ford to build something to the same very high standard, but its the CONCEPT that I think is a winner, and about the only thing missing from the Ford line up at the moment. Added to that Ford already has a base product that could be modified. http://www.lexus.com/models/sc/galle...or_photos.html Take a very close look at this car, its damn clever. The 2 peice metal roof that retracts with the boot lid is amazing. The 4.3 V8 is only 300HP, but in the ball park. I think Ford could do much worse than think about a top down 4 seater cruiser. Its CLK ish but the metal retractable roof is SLKish, but much much larger. As I said, it will never be built to the luxury standards of the Lexus due to the sales volume vs target market in Australia, but something of a compromise I think would find a place with many people. Just my 2 cents worth
