Laserheads,
It's come that time to update the old security-coded stereo in the 88 Laser Ghia to a CD player. Thankfully I can put up with the speakers for the time being so I'll cross the "any-rewiring-to-be-done"-bridge when I get to it. Is there anything to make a straight tape-cd payer swap any easier? I remember mucking about for quite some time on the old 77 Fairmont but that didn't even have a tape deck and was therefore fiddly. But I'd love any advice on getting past the Laser fascia and wiring up from anyone who's done it a few times. Is the best way to unscrew the fascia after removing the ash tray? Any advice much appreciated, Thanks |
