Default what should i pay and have done???

Hi all,

I have a 97 el xr6, ive purchased a jmm dev 5 cam with springs to suit and was tossing up how to get them installed eg using a compressor or remove the head to get the springs in and obviously while the head is off get it reco'd. Now before i go to the mechanic id like to hear what i should pay for this (head reco'd(gaskets changed, valves done etc) , cam installed, vernier gear changed and springs changed), my cars done 158000 and is well serviced, should i do anything else while the heads off and can anyone recommend a good not overly expensive place in Sydney that i can talk to as well cheers.
