G'day all,
Well, what originally started as a personal interest project to help me practice using theory and skills i'm learning at uni (currently doing mechanical engineering) has grown somewhat into a mass of data from emperical testing and graphs etc. Anyway, I've taken a small slice from what I've done and packaged it into a file that you guys can use to test out the effects of driveline modifications and test relative ingear acceleration between your car and your mate's. Admittedly its not as fun as hitting the track but it can be used as a tool to help plan mods. Note: the acceleration comparison is NOT a quarter mile calculator!!! Here's a rough copy of what I've done which I'm posting in the aufalcon.com and bseries.com sections (I think you guys will get most use out of it). I've got some polishing to do (will finish uni exams first...) but have a play and see what you can get out of it. If you want, make some suggestions and I'll try and incorporate it into the polished product. Have fun!!! http://venomst.googlepages.com/ModsTester.xls
