Default Do you drive down the middle of the road when it is quiet?

Would it be a safe thing to do.

like on a - -- -- ----road 2 way do you drive right down the middle if no one is coming from the other way?

I think it is safer because when it is quiet there is more risk from swiping parked cars than from a head on collision.
