If you don't like the show change the channel/turn it off.
Is that not what Holden and holeproof did? They pay for the ads, they did not like where the ads were shown so they stopped paying for that time slot. What is the difference? If the two companies in question think that their target demographics for the ads won't be watching a show, why waste marketing dollars on it?. When it comes to advertising I really doubt that the actual content of the show plays a part in deciding weather to place an ad there or not. The only part they would look at is the amount of exposure they thing they would get from the target demographic. Show morals or content has nothing to do with it. |
