now the prissy lancer gli boys won't need to put aftermarket media and kit on it - as it's already got it!
GPS and DVD player are US only, we don't have that over here.
The Rockford Fosgate audio system is great though, and the other features are good.
Voice activated bluetooth, smart (proximity) key entry, rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps, 18" allloys, climate control, 7 airbags and stability control, 6CD MP3 with ipod connector all standard on VRX - you need to pay for the Rockford Fosgate. No leather at all though, which is strange. You do get the 10 year powertrain warranty though.

Either way it's a good value car, but it's yet to really take off. In my opinion it's still missed the market a bit - we don't really have the brand cred to take mazda 3 head to head, existing lancer customers can't see the value in a drop from 2.4 to 2.0L with a 4 grand price increase, and it's not boring enough for Corolla buyers.
It's struggling to get strong market traction, but it will get there.

And re:WRX it's so far being the most successful WRX launch yet - they can't get enough to match demand - Subaru have decided the people that don't like the conservative styling probably weren't the type of person that would have bought a new one anyway. They don't care about rice heroes, executive is where the money is.
