Hi everyone,
I've noticed lately in my series 2 XR6 that once it's been driven for half an hour or so, at any condition (ie: slowly or spirited), once I come to a standstill and have a half decent crack at the throttle the car won't boogey until 1750-2000rpm. Is it the torque convertor or does the AU transmission have a failsafe that is been tripped and if so, should a trans cooler fix this? It's a bit annoying when your at the lights and the best you can do is j-u-s-t edge out in front of Fiesta's (hanmgs head in shame) from a standstill. And FYI the transmission is in Performance mode all the time (or at least the last two thousand k's) Thanks in advance |
