For me, it is can openers.
I just seem to go through them really quickly, break them after a few weeks, or the handle stuffs up and keeps turning while nothing's happening, or the can rim gets so mangled I have to use a knife to finish the job and end up cutting myself. Last weekend I had to return one to K-Mart because it literally broke into four pieces while trying to open a can of dog food. I went to find another for exchange and they had sold out, so I got one that was twice the price and put in the extra $$. A few days later, the thing jams on a can and the handle comes loose and turns while nothing is happening on the rim. It's working again but I think once that happens, it's on the way out. My mother even sent me one in the post that she has used for years with no problem and it lasted me only a few weeks.
