Hey guys,
I was up in walhalla a few weeks ago and notice that they are holding a car rally on the 28th and 29th of june. i sent them an e-mail today regarding the happening of the event. i thought it might be somthing we people may be interested in joining along with. The event is more aimed at historic cars and events but i thought that it would give the us a prime display. This there web site on the event. Walhalla historic car rally Entry to the event is free but limited to 100 cars. Vehicles who have entered will be allocated a space within Walhalla to park and be on display. There will be parades of vehicles during day according to classification. Prizes will be awarded to those who enter vehicles for presentation, restoration, best costumes, having the most fun etc. plus numerous spot prizes. The Walhalla Centenary Rally 2008 is a celebration of 100 years of motoring to Walhalla and is intended to be a fun day for all who visit. Walhalla is a little town just out side of moe up towards the thompson dam. it has some great views roads and scenery. For those wanting to stay over night there is accomidation at a few places in town. Also there my family has some land there so if people wanting to stay can also pitch a tent or bring a swag as we have plenty of room for people to stay. We have power and a caravan there so there is fridges and water etc. but no shower or toilet ther are about 100m up the road. : Cheers Tristan
