I have found that the whereis site offers a service that 'locates lost phones' as well as 'Find a friend'
http://everyone.whereis.com/ So basically, if you have a Telstra phone, and pre register (free) for the service you can use these search features for 50 cents a pop! Now, thinking outside the square, I wonder how hard it would be to hide a Cheap prepaid Telstra phone that is hard wired with a car charger and left on silent?? You can elect to have whatever long term plan is avaialble (I use a $50 Prepaid Telstra phone for my business, and $30 lasts 2 years). The fine print also mentions that a AGPS phone is correct to 50 metres! Hmmm If I had an expensive car I know what I would be tinkering with next weekend. Cheers! |
