Default BA 6 Stacker Dead....

Hey Guys,

I'm over in WA and own a BA SR with less than 80k kms on it and my indash stacker seems to have died. When I press the CD button opposite the eject button the screen stays blank for a few seconds then turns on the radio. I think the unit may be dead as I know for a fact that there is 6 CDs in it and the icons at the top of the screen say they are all empty.

I have 2 questions.....

1. Is there some way to "reset" the unit to see if that solves my problem?

2. If not, when I send it to you guys can i get my CDs back?

Just wondering how much I am up for as the warranty has expired 4 months ago. Is it common for these units to go even on low km cars?

Is there any sort of procedures I can take to ensure the replacement unit lasts a bit longer? or will I have to repair this unit every couple of years?

Thanks for your time,

Deano
