Now that the updated Barina is out I noticed they have fitted side airbags as standard and are now preaching improved safety. Yet Holden are now saying they will not have it ANCAP tested. Geez, I wonder why. The side airbags won't help you in a frontal collision when you hit the steering wheel and have your legs crushed under the pedals. Thats the reason why they scored so low in the ANCAP test for the pre facelift model in the first place, and they have done nothing to the crash structure of the vehicle to improve the dismal 2 star result. Typical Holden marketing BS.
