A radio interview between disk-jockey Kyle Sandilands and TV presenter Ernie Dingo descended into an on-air swear fest today following a bizarre argument about dingoes eating babies.
The terse interview lasted just minutes before Dingo called Sandilands a "", only to be labelled a "c**khead" in return. Appearing on 2DayFM's Kyle and Jackie O program to promote a new Seven Network wildlife show, the normally laid-back Dingo took a disliking to Sandilands before the interview even started. He was offended by promo audio for the interview which included Meryl Streep saying "A dingo took my baby" from the film Evil Angels. Sandilands made no effort to smooth over relations, getting the name and time of Dingo's TV show Outback Wildlife Rescue wrong and interrupting the spruik to talk about Jackie O rescuing babies from the pouches of dead wombats. A fed-up Dingo accused Sandilands of being a "commercial w**nker", and calling the Meryl Streep audio a "character assassination". After arguing heatedly about whether dingoes had taken missing Australian baby Azaria Chamberlain — the subject of the Evil Angels movie — Sandilands had also had enough. "What a c**khead you turned out to be Ernie…get out of here I'm not interested," Sandilands said before hanging up on Dingo. http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=630601 Seriously how does he keep a job and not get the beaten out if him. |
