Default Cascade Pale Ale - back in 375ml bottles

Hi all,

I hope you don’t mind me posting this here, but I’m writing on behalf of Cascade Brewery, and thought you might be interested to know that we are moving Cascade Pale Ale back to a 375ml twist top bottle.

Late last year, we made a decision to change the packaging on most of the Cascade range, driven by our consumer research which suggested the brand needed to become more relevant to today’s beer drinkers. This involved reducing the size of most Cascade bottles to 330ml with a pry off top and an updated look and feel.

We got it wrong. We’ve been listening to you, on forums like this and other social media sites, and realised that the most passionate drinkers of Cascade wanted it in 375ml twist top bottles. We regret that we upset you. Our most important market is our local market beginning with our home Tasmania.

The Pale Ale change to 375ml twist top will happen in Tasmania from early November, and on the mainland during 2009.
