Modding your AU for power and performance?
Want to know what you are really likey to get? Here is some real average sort of numbers that you could reliably expect to get in terms of rwkw fwkw 0-100k and 1/4 mile from you modded AU Six. Mod FWKW RWKW 0-100k 400m AU Auto 157 105 8.8 16.3 AU 5Spd 157 105 7.9 15.8 CAI no measurable difference sorry Extractors and 2.5" exhaust AU Auto 165 115 8.2 16.1 AU 5Spd 165 115 7.5 15.5 Extractors and 2.5" exhaust & Mild Cam Wade 1004, JMM Dev3 etc AU Auto 175 125 7.9 15.8 AU 5Spd 175 125 7.2 15.2 Extractors and 2.5" exhaust & Street Cam JMM Dev3HL Dev4 etc AU Auto 185 135 7.5 15.5 AU 5Spd 185 135 6.8 14.7 Extractors and 2.5" exhaust & street race Cam wade 1521 JMM Dev5, Unichip/Chiptorque/Motec/haltech, Ported heads big valves. AU Auto 210 170 6.4 14.6 AU 5Spd 210 170 6.0 14.2 There are lots of other mods that do and don't make a difference but I just chose a few to illustrate what can be done. obviously lower diffs hi stalls etc will make for better times but no better power. |
