My mate actually lives/lived in was the old black billy(?) tea rooms , right next door to the pub on the up hill side. They have a couple of young kids.

Just saw that the pub was ok. But everything around it didnt look too good at all. I only just recently wired up the vet clinic.

It's hard to know what to believe, I only know what I hear from people around whittlesea. But it's good to know that the pub survived so I'm sure a lot of people did too.

Unfortunately we know several people that have been killed during the fires it always hits harder when it becomes this personal.

If the CFA is correct and there is a chance some of the fires were deliberately lit, that person/s will want to hope like hell that the police catch them before the public does. What a senseless waste of life............

apparently they have several suspects under arrest.. not sure how true this is however
