G'day folks,
During the stupid fuel prices of late last year I bought a 2 door 04 or 05 Fiesta. I'm really happy with the car, it's a reasonably solid drive, happy with the handling, braking, it's comfortable enough for a big person in a small car and I love the 550-600km to a tank of fuel. What I'm not loving is the performance. I'm a reasonably big unit, 120kg, 6'6 tall and I'm disgruntled. The shine of small fuel bills is being dulled by the slow performance. What can I do to improve performance, without seriously affecting my fuel bill, and without making it sound like a rice burner? Wouldn't want to spend any more than a grand, as it's just not worth it. Any suggestions? Ideally another 10% poke would be awesome. Just not sure what's going to give me the best bang for my buck. |
