Default ICC Changeover Question

I have done an extensive search on here and other forums and find conflicting information. I have purchased from a mates XR a 6 stack colour screen 6 stack, single climate ICC.

My question is if I change over my BEM and key transponder thingy will I need a radio code reset.

Some threads say no some say yes, some say if it is done with the battery left connected and plug removal sequence followed it will work straight up.

Any one done this, I know the units from ASL and FTG more than like likely have had a master reset so will work straight up.

This unit was a good price so I decided to go this way rather than from suppliers above.

Thanks
