i tried to fix the spare au remote today as it wasn't working, no lights and no response.
when i cracked it open i noticed the little plastic platform thing the battery is in didn't sit into the circuit board like it should. so i put it back where it belongs and the lights worked. now i have tried the remote and the light works on it but there is no response from the car, grr. no unluck/lock/boot release. just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how to fix it. i have already bought one replacement remote last year for the car, don't want to have to buy another... hmm, wondering if i could frankenstein one up out of the old dead one and this one.. cheers -tim |
