Default The BOSS Is back

hope not a repost, found this on another forum.

New information is coming in on the 6.2 liter modular that will be appearing in some Fords next year. I believe it is debuting in the Raptor, but I imagine it will sneak into a mustang at some point.

From what I have read, this engine has a tall enough deck height to be brought out to nearly 8 liters! One has already made 700+bhp on the stock bottom end with stock heads and a mild cam....naturally aspirated.

This particular engine was in a 3800lbs drag car running 8.50's in the 1/4 mile, again on the stock bottom end. Can't wait to see some more info.

edit: to clear up any possible confusion, its anticipated to be rated around 400bhp stock.
Would like to see a DOHC 4 valve/cylinder version though.
