thanks gk for the pic (stolen from the "how to change your front springs and struts" thead
for well over the last year my au has had a extremely intermittent knock in the front left on very hot days, at first i would have to drive a fair distance before it would start, (over an hour) but now its come back pretty consistently and i think i have located it to the part just above this bolt in the photo... makes a knocking noise when car is moving, doesnt change with braking or when pushing down on the suspension it seams more when turning its noisy. just wondering what to do about it... i have tried to tighten the bolt but it is definatly tight enough. not sure if it can be rebuilt or replaced. if its a common thing? i'v changed the springs up the front a few time so id like to give it a go first Cheers Cam
