Thats it! I've had it with my power windows!
Whenever I go to put the drivers one up, it stops halfway, and I have to grab the window, rock it backwards into the correct position, then it winds up normally. It reads like the window is sitting too far forward in the cradle. I pulled the door apart and checked all the guides, undid the two bolts on the window cradle, and moved the window back as far as the limited adjustment would allow. I've tried silicone spray, graphite powder, EVERYTHING! Can the window guides become worn? Could the tinting be affecting the operation of the windows? A mate has an EF Fairmont Ghia, and his windows are PERFECT, much faster and smoother than mine! Go figure. What else can you suggest to fix them?
