Default Early mustangs, what to look out for.

I've got a mate who's flying to the Gold coast in a couple of weeks to check out a 67-68 mustang that his lad wants to buy. It's supposed to have had a full strip down resto and is in the process of being reassembled. Unfortunately he knows bugger all about mustangs and apart from a cursory once over to look for obvious problems, he wouldn't know what to look out for as far as problem areas go.

So can any of you mustang guys give him a few pointers on what to look for and what questions to ask so at least he's got a clue otherwise I'm worried the seller is going to see him coming and could potentially do a number on him. He and his family are good christian souls and tend to be trusting and see the best in everyone and don't tend to look over their shoulders for the knife in the back, if you know what I mean.

Cheers
