Default XR8 Surprise

Evening all,

I just changed my plugs and leads on my XR8 simply out of not knowing just how old they were, and the most amazing thing happened. All of this power just came out of nowhere, not that im complaining I just wanted to share thoughts as to why this happened in light of the following:

The plugs I pulled out of it didnt seem all that deteriorated upon inspection.

The old leads were Topguns like I replaced them with, indicating they were done at some point.

I did all of this with the battery disconnected so ECU wouldve been reset, however Ive done this in the past with no noticeable effect.

Directly after replacing it all, I took it for a blast and there was a BIG difference, before it had no guts when planting the foot from idle (despite revving its guts out), now it launches like a rocket
