Major changes to mobile speed cameras and licensing laws
23 November 2010 This link shows the 'future directions' of the demerit point system in NSW. Note the "community involvement" of such groups as Harold Scruby's Pedestrian Council. (Harold, is likely an official NSW parliamentary lobbyist, these days you must be 'registered' to be a lobbyist). http://www.nsw.gov.au/news/major-cha...licensing-laws THIS LINK is a Pdf of the more immediate changes:- http://www.nsw.gov.au/sites/default/...REDUCTIONS.pdf NON NSW residents might like to reference the term "national demerit", this is part of the ongoing agenda to harmonise penalties, nationwide, but could in future years include New Zealand.
