Default So the police tried to defect my car tonight.

Just as i was pulling into work, he asked me to pop the bonnet, then went on to tell me that Breather pods coming out of my rocker cover are illegal, saying the engine isnt allowed to breath directly into the atmosphere?
Then went on to tell me that the tires i had on (BFGoodrich Radial T/A's) arent allowed to be used on my ute due to load ratings, and then when he checked the sticker to have a look, he looked puzzled and just told me to take it to bob jane and get them to see if they are alright :S

Since this is the first time i've had police try and defect my car, i was wondering if what he said is right?

I know that my XC being made in 1977 has a lot more leniance to regulations such as emissions ect
