"soft roaders" are a stupid market segment and it astounds me that these sell in any great volume, there is a myriad of large cars both sedan and wagon that are just as well equipped as "soft roaders" and have improved handling, "soft roaders" are for those that believe they are better than everybody else, and as a result must have an elevated seating position, I have so much hatred for soft roaders I cannot express it, what is the point of a jacked up falcon wagon when in doing so you increase weight and degrade vehicle handling, if these people that buy these want to play the highest seating position game I will get me one of these
