Just as a slight aside Gecko....of the 4 that were lights and sirens, how many were true emergencies that really did require you to rush to them? Please don't think I am looking to criticise, but in my experiences I have had with ambulance placements there really was very little need for the rush in 9/10 instances. This was highlighted by the fact that when the patient arrived at the DEM they all waited well beyond half an hour (the longest was 3 hours), making all tyhe sirens and rushing a useless waste of energy.
