Also, i've seen it said that 6/4 might be overkill for some people and that 6spot brembos upfront, and 2spot PBRs on the rear might be sufficient.... (Dependent on the cars usage i imagine)

But based on that, Are there any problems with running two different brands of calipars front and rear?
How much saving is there in going for 2spot PBR vs 4spot Brembos?

I'd imagine there would be some cost savings, but are they physically smaller? I'm looking at rims currently, and some 19/20x10" rims are listed as not compatible with brembos, so wondered whether PBRs would be better in that sense.

Thanks
Option 4.
6 piston Brembo with 355mm front and 4 piston 330mm rear $4500 with DBA 4000 slotted or xdrilled rotors.
Yes the FG kit is still correct. The 6/4 combo is fine as a combo for street driven cars and you must be thinking of the PBR single piston rear kit as there is no twin piston rear set up available. The 6/1 combo is popular on the FG utes and can be used for a sedan as well and performs well. This combo of Bremb/PBR is not an issue and Ford release this same kit on alot of there models including the ute.
If the wheels do not clear the brembo's we can supply a Twin piston front caliper with 355mm front rotors matched to a rear 1 piston caliper with 328mm rotors that should fit behind the wheels for around $3200.
The 6/4 combo is close to 70 kgs when boxed
