Hey everyone,
Wondering if anyone has any interest in Finke? My old man has gone up there as a first-timer, hoping to make a dent in the Performance 2WD class (Car #532).  The car is a beast, specs as follows: Vehicle: Whats left of a 1989 Nissan Navara D21 with fibreglass bonnet and guards Engine: 5.7lt/350ci Chev, race-prepped and prepared in the US by FastCo Automotive, Mighty Demon (Barry Grant) carby, alloy heads, Edelbrock alloy manifold and a million other things, pumping out 450hp/450ftlb at the flywheel Suspension: Full King Spring 2.5" coil-over kit with triple-bypasses and hydraulic bump stops, producing around 19" of wheel-travel. Fully engineered A-Arm style suspension built by S&S Race Frames in Waikerie, SA. Anyone else heading up/know of anyone heading up? I fly out to Alice on Friday, can't wait!
