some mechanic friends and even my engineer swore blind that changing the belt system would do bugger all. So there you go guys, another engineering challange met.

Also as an experiment, the car will run without the belts attached, albiet a bit rough, the blower just free wheels and the manifold vacuum is higher ( and no boost at higher revs obviously).
good to know, if i break a belt i can get home.
thats great info there, all ways thought the blower unit made all the noise
