Default Bangladeshi hacker - TIGER-M@TE

Came across a few websites today that have been hacked by this bloke, Further research reveals that he has over 700,000 websites hacked. Has anyone seen websites that have been hacked by him ? Apparently all he does it deletes the index. files... Why advantages is he getting by doing that ?

Mallory Moretti
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Eyewitness News discovered early Sunday morning that the website for The City of Providence had been hacked.

Upon trying to gain access to the site, a black screen with a message from the hacker was displayed and read:

"Server HackeD by TIGER-M@TE #Bangladeshi HackeR."

It is unclear how long the website had been inaccessible, but Eyewitness News came upon the issue just after 8:30 a.m and the site was back to being operational just before 9:30 a.m.

David Ortiz with Providence Mayor Angel Taveras released the following statement on the incident:

"A computer hacker gained access to the server that hosts the City of Providence website at about 5:30AM.
The hacker conducted a website defacement attack that affected a large number of customers of the company that hosts the city's website. It was not a targeted attack on providenceri.com or any of the city's other web domains.
The hacker did not compromise the city's internal servers, data or email. City IT staff learned about the web defacement at about 8:30AM and used a remote backup to fully restore the city's website by 9:30AM."

Calls to the Detectives Division at the Providence Police Department were also made to see what actions are being done to resolve the issue.
