FORTY cars have been damaged in an arson attack on a car dealership on Brisbane's southside overnight.

Police say four cars were set alight at the Hyundai dealership on the Pacific Highway at Slacks Creek after 8.30pm Sunday.

Two cars were found in bushland behind the dealership. Another 40 had been vandalised.

Police are guarding the scene.
Forensic officers will examine the scene later today.


Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or crimestoppers.com.au.
